About This Event
IEEEXtreme 19.0 took place in late October 2025 as the 19th edition of the global 24-hour competitive programming challenge organized by IEEE. During the marathon event, teams of up to three university students from around the world worked simultaneously to solve complex algorithmic and programming problems.
The IEEE Student Branch at the Informatics Institute of Technology actively prepared its students for the competition. On September 28, 2025, they hosted an online awareness session to guide participants through the competition rules, share preparation strategies, and manage registrations. This preparation phase was closely tied to their HackSphere '25 initiative, acting as a direct launchpad for students to enter the global event.
Following the preparation, IIT undergraduates formed multiple teams and competed in the 24-hour coding sprint. The event tested their endurance, problem-solving skills, and logic under pressure, continuing the university's strong tradition of active involvement in global programming challenges.
