Indsight Gen III

IndSight Gen III is the 2026 edition of the industry visit series organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the Informatics Institute of Technology. Designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world industry practices, the series provides undergraduates with exclusive, firsthand exposure to leading software and technology companies across Sri Lanka. The initiative successfully organized visits to a diverse lineup of prominent tech organizations, including Altrium, Calcey, Codegen, Dijital Team, GTN, Inivos, NEXT, WSO2, and Zone24x7.

The 2026 series commenced with Visit 01 to Inivos on March 16. The initiative then saw a highly active month of June, starting with Visit 02 to Altrium on June 4, where students participated in engaging sessions like "Human Tinder" for CVs and "The Vibe Check" for interviews. This was followed by Visit 03 at Dijital Team on June 18, which focused on integrating creativity with technology and featured a dedicated "Campus to Career" segment. On June 23, Visit 04 took place at CodeGen, exposing students to emerging innovations like the company's work in the electric vehicle domain. June concluded with Visit 05 to Calcey on the 25th, offering deep insights into collaborative work cultures and modern software engineering practices.

The immersive experiences continued into the latter half of the year. Visit 06 was hosted by GTN Tech on July 7, giving participants a look into how ideas are transformed into real-world solutions within a culture of continuous learning. The tour also included an invaluable stop at Zone24x7, adding further depth to the series. In September, the initiative moved to NEXT for Visit 09 on September 9, where students gained fresh perspectives on the dedication required to build impactful solutions. The series reached a major milestone with Visit 10 at WSO2 on September 15, allowing undergraduates to experience the company's unique approach to innovation and the technical expertise driving the digital world forward.
