About This Event
On June 8th, 2024, the IEEE Women in Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group of IIT hosted “Sherlock,” an engaging hybrid problem-solving competition. The event was designed to raise awareness about the incredible contributions of women in STEM, blending elements of mystery, problem-solving, and storytelling.
Undergraduates from across Sri Lanka participated in this unique competition, where they navigated through a series of carefully crafted challenges and puzzles. Each challenge unveiled the stories of pioneering women whose achievements have significantly shaped the fields of science and technology. Through this interactive and competitive experience, participants not only showcased their problem-solving skills but also gained valuable insights into the diverse and impactful contributions of women in STEM.
