About This Event
SHErlock 3.0 was an immersive, mystery-themed challenge organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group of the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) in early 2026. Designed to push students' cognitive and collaborative boundaries, the event invited participants to step into a world of hidden clues, unexpected twists, and mind-bending puzzles.
The competition acted as a thrilling race against time where teams had to put their logic, teamwork, and deductive reasoning to the ultimate test. Participants were challenged to "crack the case" and uncover the truth by solving complex problems under pressure. To elevate the stakes, the organizers introduced a dedicated prize pool of over LKR 30,000, which was awarded exclusively to the sharpest minds who emerged as the overall winning team.
